DEBSTER is the producer and songwriter identity of Debbie Hulskamp. With more than 35 years of experience as a vocalist and performer, music has always been at the core of her work, while her focus today lies behind the scenes in producing, composing and co-writing for artists and media.

 

Under the name DEBSTER, she works as a music producer, composer and topliner on a wide range of projects — from artist productions to music for TV series, film, Escaperooms and commercial campaigns. Her sound moves between soul, pop and contemporary electronic music, combining strong melodies with an organic sense of groove and emotion.

Internationally, Debbie has participated in songwriting camps and writing sessions, including projects at Wisseloord Studios, DWB Group and The Woods Norway. She has also taken part in international Eurovision songwriting camps, where songs are written for the Eurovision Song Contest.

 

Alongside her work as a producer and songwriter, Debbie is also active as a live vocalist and entertainer. With a broad repertoire of soul, jazz, pop and Golden Oldies, she performs at private events, celebrations and care facilities, where connection, atmosphere and recognizable music play a central role.

 

With her extensive background as a singer, she creates vocally driven and melody-focused music that connects instantly. As a co-writer and producer, she helps artists develop an authentic and distinctive sound.

 

In addition, Debbie is developing her own artistic project, TANAH LUNA — a cinematic Afro House project inspired by Bali, organic percussion and global electronic soundscapes.
